There are three simple steps to get you reading codes straight away:

1. Select the vehicle, the Code Reader then shows you locations and pictures of the diagnostic connectors. To read Dealership Level codes you only need to choose the system (say Engines) and make (say Toyota) NOT THE MODEL of the vehicle. This saves you time trying to find the exact model, which other scan tool make you do!

2. Plugin the Universal Plug (UniPlug), to read the fault codes automatically (connector locations and photos are built into the CodeReader program for you).

3. Press the Manufactuer Specific (Man. Spec) fault codes button and walk away

The Code Reader will now automatically read the fault codes and display the code number and code description on the screen. For example Code P1324: Throttle Position Sensor. The system will also read 2 digit codes for older cars, such as Code 12: Airflow meter.

You can also ERASE the codes now as well if you choose.

You can now print the Code Reader results directly to your office / workshop computer and save the results to your PC or Laptop.

1. Universal Plug (UniPlug)

		The Rennacs Universal Plug (UniPlug™) scan tool system allows you to "plug into" the On Board Diagnostics 2 (OBD2 / EOBD) style diagnostic connector now found on all later model vehicles.
